Simply put? To take the very best care of you and your pets.
Rochelle understands the demands of a busy, modern life. She wants her clients to enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing their beloved four-legged family members are well cared for when they can’t be there.
Rochelle prides herself on flexible, customized, reliable service. Many clients come to see Rochelle as indispensible extended family, and that suits her just fine.
Rochelle shares her home with the “4 Big Brothers,” litter mates left at her preschool many years ago. Originally dumped with six other siblings and a very tired, stressed momma dog, Rochelle took them all in, eventually finding homes for the first six. The four remaining brothers and momma happily stayed on with Rochelle. Momma passed on some time ago, but her remaining pups—grown to 100 pounds each!—continue to fill Rochelle’s home with lots of love and dog hair.
Rochelle considers the dogs and cats she cares for to be part of her extended animal family as well. Loving them and caring for their people is at the heart of being a back-up pet mom.

Prior to becoming a back-up dog mom, Rochelle was a school mom, running a respected and trusted Plano preschool caring for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers for sixteen years.
Even then she had a reputation for taking care of animals, and her school became a common drop point for abandoned dogs, puppies, and kittens. Eventually she decided it was meant to be that she’d work with animals, and so she opened Mom4Paws.
“My animals are my world and the only person on this earth I would trust with any of my animals is Shelly and Mom 4 Paws. Thank you for being a friend and care giver to the animals. You can judge a person's heart by their treatment of animals and Shelly, your heart is huge! Woof-Woof.”
